Obtaining Residency for Living in Cyprus
Residential Permit
A Residential Permit is easily obtained by non-Cypriots who have decided to
live in Cyprus.
Temporary Permit
For the granting of this permit you must prove the existence of a
bank account in Cyprus and have a sales agreement for a property purchased.
Temporary residence
status
can be granted from one to four years.
Permanent permit
In addition to the above requirements, the applicant must establish evidence
of a secure annual income of not less than €9,658 per person plus
€4,613 for each dependant person. (Because of the entry of Cyprus
to the EU, it
is possible that for Europeans the law in respect of permits will change.)
